O Madeira Wine Festival é uma celebração cultural realizada anualmente na ilha da Madeira, honrando a histórica tradição do Vinho da Madeira — um dos vinhos fortificados mais distintivos e longevos do mundo, com mais de 500 anos de história. Em 2026, decorre entre 27 de Agosto e 13 de Setembro, ao longo da época da vindima.

Programa do festival:

  • Provas de Vinho da Madeira em todas as categorias (Sercial, Verdelho, Boal, Malvasia, Terrantez, Tinta Negra)
  • Demonstrações tradicionais de pisa de uvas e vindima
  • Cortejos folclóricos e desfiles etnográficos
  • Música tradicional madeirense
  • Eventos educativos sobre os métodos únicos de produção (estufagem e canteiro)
  • Visitas a adegas históricas no Funchal

Sobre o Vinho da Madeira: Único pela sua capacidade de envelhecimento (séculos!) e pelo processo de produção exclusivo que envolve aquecimento controlado, o Vinho da Madeira é uma das joias do património vínico português e tem forte procura em mercados premium internacionais, incluindo o angolano.

Sip, swirl, discover — and let each glass tell its own story of heritage, terroir, and craftsmanship.
No expertise needed. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend who loves good conversation).
Our sommelier will guide you through the tasting notes, pairing ideas, and unique characteristics of each wine — helping
you discover the ones that speak to your palate.
